This course is a complete introduction to Unreal Engine 5 for intermediate Game Developper. If you already have a small experience with programming (what is a class or a pointer for example) you will feel at home :)
We are first going to analyse and deconstruct the Thrid Person template in order to understand how everything was put together by Epic Games (inputs, maths for movement etc...). We are going to extensively read part of the engine code in order to deeply understand how some out of the features are working underneath.
Then we will add new mechanics to the templat such as a grabber component that will enable us to drag physical object around.

I wanna know if this is a good workflow for animation and videogame engines, I see you use triangles in corner of eyes and I’m guessing the mouth as well, idk if your supposed to use triangles for low poly meshes when animating.

i mean, that explaination of light works for a physics engine but not when you trying to contemplate where to eat next day
that model looks decent but it may not pass fine inspection. in order to release a finished product, there are strict adherence to standards
you are still trying to figure out how a masterpiece like arcane has funding for a studio in manhattan skyline that cost 60 a year for upkeep.
I think krita has potential. it has to has some commercial grade feature for it to be that popular.
It only takes a polished game to do it. You can't compete with the rpg aspect of diablo or it's inventory, but what you can do is develop a separate game that focus on completely different details.
I remember when I modeled in blender, how frustrating it was to work without polysplit feature. 2.6 changed the game

Respect for putting this together. I barely scratch the surface of the capabilities (Krita is light-years ahead of Blender for adding subtle details to textures so that's my main use) but you can never learn too much about a tool in the inventory.
I noticed during your inverse function section the arrow was rotating about the bottom point. How do you get the object to rotate about its bottom point instead of its center?

After reading the chapter in "Game Engine Architectures" I was a little depressed, because it got complicated very quickly through all the detailed mathmatical examples.
